Adobe
|
When Adobe moved to a corporate strategy based on Adobe Acrobat
as the electronic equivalent of paper, they chose Expert Support to
create the training for OEMs and VARs using the Acrobat API to build
enterprise solutions for clients. The training is a detailed tour
of the Acrobat API and how to build servers that distribute and
maintain Acrobat documents as part of a corporate solution. The
training is used as a basis for Adobe's Acrobat certification course.

NativeMinds (formerly Neuromedia)
|
Neuromedia produces server software for customer support and service.
This software interacts with customers in written English. The customer
can enter a question or a statement in English and the virtual service representative
or vRep responds with an appropriate answer.
When Neuromedia needed a training course on the development and
maintenance of vReps, they came to Expert Support. We developed both
a classroom training and a print tutorial, freeing up developers and
support personnel from the time-intensive task of training new customers.

Pensare
|
Expert
Support worked with Pensare to design their web-based
courseware and course templates. One of these was the Survey
Builder Template, a software program for Pensare instructional
designers (IDs) to use in creating online surveys and workshops.

PLATINUM technology (formerly Aion and Trinzic)
|
PLATINUM
offered one of the most complete tools available on the market for
the creation of expert systems. These systems were intended to replicate
the judgements of an expert in a technical field on a limited set
of problems. Examples of expert systems are engineering design tools,
credit card limit setting tools, and scheduling systems. PLATINUM's
tool was one of the most widely used expert system programming tools
on the market.
Expert
Support was asked to create a training course for the PLATINUM tool.
We created several training courses, including an introductory course,
an API course, an advanced course, a methodology training, and several
adapations to new releases as they came out.

Visual Edge
|
Visual
Edge produced CORBA-compliant object request brokers (ORBs) and
the adapters needed to make particular object systems work with
a CORBA ORB. When they decided to sell their software to language
compiler sources, they needed a training course that would allow
the software development team to write their own adapters using
Visual Edge's highly technical software, they came to Expert Support
for the training course.
Because
of the press of business in this time-sensitive market, the developers
were not able meet with the ESI training developers often. Nevertheless,
the ESI developers were able to decode much of the software from
the source code and created their training course on time and on
budget.
