Production Specialist

Angie has worked in graphic arts and production services for five years. As a member of Expert Support's production staff, Angie specializes in creating and updating presentations, converting client presentations to different presentation applications, redrawing graphics and retouching photos. She especially enjoys creating complicated animations within presentations and editing graphics in Adobe Photoshop.

In recent projects, Angie has created or modified graphics in Illustrator for several clients, including BDBiosystems and Celera Diagnostics. The graphics ranged from street maps to complex biotech equipment and were used in Adobe FrameMaker or Microsoft Word documents. Angie has also created graphics in Microsoft PowerPoint for AppliedBiosystems and Baydel.

Other projects include converting almost 1200 .bmp files to .gifs and converting .bmp and .jpg files to various other graphic file types for Ricoh; modifying or converting over 100 presentation for Sun Microsystems using StarOffice, Applix, and PowerPoint; and creating a searchable CD-ROM of 319 photographs for Dow AgroSciences.

Angie also provides web site support. During a two-year assignment at KLA-Tencor, Angie created and updated over 15 intranet sites using Microsoft FrontPage. She created or updated the web site graphics using a variety of tools, including Macromedia Fireworks and Flash. Angie created the Macromedia Flash animations for the Expert Support web site.

Before joining Expert Support, Angie was a member of the production staff of R. B. Webber, working with other staff members and client companies to develop graphical presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and other tools.

Angie enjoys cross stitching, travel, and reading in her spare time. She also enjoys torturing people with stories of her incredibly adorable cats, Boris and Boo.
