Project Coordinator and Production Artist

As Project Coordinator and Production Artist, Karen shape shifts into a few different roles here at Expert Support, which brings a variety to her life, and leverages upon her wide experience for the overall team. The unique combination of Karen's skills enables her to adapt to many different projects as a creative problem solver and organizational coordinator. Her ten years of formal education as a studio artist have developed Karen into a highly creative person who is multifaceted. She received her MFA in Spatial Concepts, which largely means that she places creative emphasis on the development of the concept, while utilizing a versatility of expression to meet the needs of the idea at hand.

With this background, Karen naturally became a Marketing Consultant at Apple Computer for nearly 5 years prior to coming to Expert Support! At Apple, Karen expanded her skill set into the areas of Program Management and Event Marketing.

Now, as Project Coordinator at Expert Support, Karen brings her management experience and talent for FileMaker Database design to the coordination process. When wearing the graphics hat, Karen provides a creative versatility to her role as a Production Artist working in Illustrator, PhotoShop and FrameMaker. She has produced on-screen demos, presentations, web graphics, and newsletters.

In her personal life, Karen pursues a professional art career through her writing, storytelling, and sculpting. She values meditation as a creative tool and enjoys teaching others a creative meditation practice. Both the themes of her meditation and art resonate with Celtic philosophy and a love of nature.
